Japan trip November 1st:-
We are off to Japan next week and arrive November 1st 2007.
We will be hunting for those special koi, not only to replenish our own stocks, but also searching for many pre-ordered koi. If you are looking for that special koi then why not email or phone with your request. You never know, Richdon may find you that special koi you could only dream about at a realistic discounted price!
Please specify, variety, age, budget range (above £150 per koi), and we will search for that special koi for you at a discounted rate.
PLEASE remember we cannot look for a koi without a budget from you. This budget price is UK landed including VAT, with considerable members discount on normal UK retail prices.
Alternatively you can purchase any koi direct from our Japan pages whilst we are in Japan at a shown discounted rate. If there is a special koi you like from our Japan pages we strongly advise you order it. In the past we have had upset customers who waited until the end of the trip only to find the special koi they had in mind had been sold. You are welcome to order any koi, and if you want to change your mind whilst we are still in Japan it is NOT a problem, Donna can be your contact whilst we are in Japan.
Dry Goods Online:-
For this week ONLY we are offering 10% off dry goods online ordering. From now until Friday 26th 5pm, you can ordering online with 10% members discount. Your members discounted price is shown online already to make your ordering easier.
Open weekend:-
We thought it a good idea to have an open weekend this coming weekend where you can come along, and after going through our strict bio-security measures we can show you around our 2 acre site. More importantly you can see our quarantine / growing on facilities.
This opportunity can only be on offer at this time of year, as our quarantine facility is out of bounds to the public between November & August due to our strict policies.
Please feel free to ask any questions about our quarantine procedures, growing techniques, filtration idea's, the list is endless
We will also be offering 10% on dry goods in store with a SPECIAL announcement being made on Saturday morning.
I guess anyone wanting those last minute bargains with the koi we have left can certainly ask this weekend!
Phoning Richdon- improvement.
After our intital hiccup we now have ONE telephone line which is cheaper for you to call, there are NO hidden costs, and our 08450 702704 is charged at your local phone rate, and NOT the national rate if you are out of our area! If you are phoning from a mobile, internet or other special phone packages you can phone 01283 529176 or 01283 540101
Over this summer we have had complaints that our phone lines have been engaged, even though we had a sales and technical line the sales line would be taken up by technical questions. Whilst this is no problem for our team, it is for those trying to get through for a sales enquiry.
So now you have the option when phoning, with our system asking you in Donna's voice if you want sales or technical. We also now have three lines coming in so hopefully you should never have to talk to a answer machine or have an enaged tone.
However as I type this newsletter there is a fault on our new line (typical) which has caused us some disruption over the weekend. Please try again on any of the numbers above, and I am sure we will be there to help.
Web site improvements.
Over this week you should see online web site improvements, especially when ordering goods from us.
In order for us to improve our service we are making some alterations to our online ordering system. Where you will have to login to order your goods via a password. This will help us improve your ordering in the future, by saving past orders, favorite goods, along with a few surprises too!
We will also be adding the option of a shipping address. This will be instead of adding a different shipping address to the comments box and avoid any further confusion.
