Autumn harvest koi release

Our autumn harvest collection is now on our website. Each koi has been photographed, measured, sexed and in some cases a video. We must point out though each picture and video is for illustrative purposes only and whilst we have taken extreme steps to ensure a true representation of each koi has been shown, we cannot be held responsible for any misinterpretations.

Although the Yen is poor against the pound we have priced our koi to make them very attractive anyway. So with your membership discount of 10%, this is the maximum discount we can offer on these koi unless buying more than one koi, then a deal can be struck for sure.

All the new koi will be released and on view for the first time on the FRIDAY 12th December. A day at Richdon NOT to be missed. You are quite welcome to order your koi from our website or via a phone call before this date to avoid missing that special koi. So many people contact me showing a great interest in a certain koi, or post on our forum asking others advise only for it to be snapped up by someone else. This seems to happen more and more as Richdon and the koi we have on offer become even more popular these days.

At Christmas we will be reducing our sales ponds to 11c, in order match temperatures with most people this winter, who are cost saving and reducing their pond temperatures aswell (see our forum on this subject).
So even if you have a unheated pond, providing that is covered and more than 9c you can still join in with this Autumns harvest and we are happy to let koi go to such ponds.

SORRY we are NOT holding koi over winter this year.

If ordering a koi from the website before the 13th December and you wish it to be delivered then please understand some of the koi will not be released until this date. We can ship koi to anywhere in England, Southern Scotland and Wales for next Day delivery before 10am Tuesday to Thursday.
Sorry this service is NOT available for Saturday, Sunday and Monday delivery.

In order to offer our members THE best service for this week to help our transition from 17.5% VAT to 15% VAT, from now until Early January we have set your discounts as follows:- Dry Goods 7.5% discount and Koi 12.5%. Normally in January we find a price increase with goods so we will ammend all our goods at the same time

Richdon request- Loyalty points

In order for Richdon Koi to keep strong through the Winter we ask for your help.
If you wish to use your loyalty points against a koi we ask that you use a MAXIMIM of 50% points against the purchase price of a koi. For example a koi worth £200 (after discounts) we ask that you use £100 worth of your points and the rest by however you wish to pay normally. This is a voluntary request at present but if the winter becomes more difficult, rather than giving lots of discounts on koi we will have to make this request a reality, and from January this will be in the new Terms and Conditions of your loyalty points system. You will NOT have your points reduced in any way, and the value of your points will stay the same. Upon setting up the loyalty points system we planned that people would use their FREE points to purchase a koi they would normally not stretch to and improve their existing collections, and in general this has been the case. However, over the past month so we have noticed an increase in customers using ALL points gathered to be put against a koi of the same value, so in other words a FREE koi. Whilst this is still a good offer we have had to consider our position with the points system and with our terms and conditions can apply any changes we wish to, with the value of the points staying the same.

These if in stock will be delivered on Tuesday 23rd December
The sending of goods will resume on Monday 5th January 2009 and be delivered on Tuesday 6th January.
