Grow & Show details
(posted: 10-03-2009)Dear Koi Club member.
This weekend we are holding our Grow & Show selection process.
We will be offering for this weekend 10% members discount on all dry goods collected.
Times are posted HERE
We intend to post all koi being placed in this event for prior viewing on Thursday evening.
This involved those who have already booked their place and Koi, to come along at a specific time and select the koi they wish Richdon to grow for them until July
This is a great event for many like minded hobbyists to meet and again this year has been VERY popular selling out within a week.
Here are some rules and guidelines for this weekend:-
1- Only ONE person or partner may select each koi. We do NOT allow entrants to bring along friends to help select. This makes this event as fair as possible.
2- Please do not disclose the koi you are looking at either on our forum, via email and ESPECIALLY on the day.
3- We advise you bring along pictures along with GS numbers, to avoid disapointment, maybe a list of 10 koi
4- If you have selected a SekiGuchi or Dainichi you CANNOT change your mind and swap breeders. We have ordered these koi and given numbers related to your entry request.
5- Bio-Security is in force not only in the shop entrance but also for the pond side selection.
6- If you cannot make the event then send us a list of koi numbers of your selection, and we will pickt the highest rated one at your specific time allocated. You can also ask someone else if need be, this is not a problem
7- ONLY 3 koi are allowed to be bowled at one selection process. In otherwords you can place three koi into the holding basket to select from and CANNOT swap them for any others. This ensures the health of our koi, please understand.
8- Do NOT worry, the time allowance for selection is plenty of time. We will of course help with each selection to a certain extent, but it is down to YOU!
9- If you miss your time slot then you will have to wait until the end of selection on that day. We have a strict timetable to work to, so please understand.
See you this weekend
The Richdon Koi Team
