Well this weekend is our famous Richdon BBQ weekend.

Not only do we have Great Offers available-

We have FREE daytime Koi Workshops

In the evening The Famous Richdon Koi BBQ, Hog Roast & Disco.

PLEASE NOTE OUR TILL WILL CLOSE AT 4pm on Saturday, we request this every year yet people still come to us later in the evening. This is to ensure Donna is relaxed and ready for the evening events.

What's in store this weekend

Daytime FREE events

13:00 - General koi talk- Come along and ask any question you like about this hobby, from Koi health, Koi appreciation, filtration etc etc.

14:30 - Photography & Koi- Why not improve your koi photography skills.

16:00 - Richdon Koi announcement- Exciting news for the future of Richdon Koi.

We wish this year to be more of a get together, talk koi and see our new 100,000gallon growing pond. Trust us when we say you can spend hours just watching the koi in our 50k and 100k.

Please note due to the difficulty in lighting, we will not be having a large screen display. We intend to try a large flat screen TV, to help with this event.

19:00 - Hog Roast & BBQ.

20:30 - Mushio Quiz (Please be warned of laughter and might not be ideal for children!)

21:00 till very late - Disco with an appearance from Mushio and his 'Let me entertain you' routines.

Bring along your own drinks, you are welcome to stay over in tents, cars or under the stars.

Weekend pointers:-

1. PLEASE observe our Bio-Security measures. Foot dips and hand washes will be in place of each door of the 50k & 100k. PLEASE use each time you visit!
2. Do NOT venture into our quarantine area, this will be taped off. Anyone found in this area will be kindly asked to leave. We have worked VERY hard to be one of the few CEFAS authorised facilities in the Uk. Please respect this. 
3. Do not try to calm the dogs in their kennel, they will not calm to anyone but Richard & Donna. You will just upset them more.
4. Our toilet will be open all night, but our shop will be closed off.
5. Please only smoke at the front of our Car Park or for those staying right at the top of the field on the right hand side. We have crops around us, and it is very dry at present so we do not wish for any accidents
6. Please place all your rubbish into the skip provided on the Sunday morning as you are leaving.

Each ticket is chance to win a Chagoi grown on this year in the 50k and then next year in the 100k.
So you could be collecting a Chagoi of your choice in Autumn 2011 over 70cm.
It gets even better- We are offering TWO Chagoi's.
So you have double the chance of winning a very special Marudo Chagoi worth well over £1500 with free growing services worth over £300.

100,000gallon pond is now finished.

Over this weekend and any weekend during the summer you are welcome to visit our growing ponds. Please do not venture down each side of these ponds, and please do not let children enter these facilities un-attended. A member of staff will be with you each time you visit these ponds.

Marudo Chagoi & Yamabuki release.

We have released around 100 chagoi & Yamabuki's this weekend. These are circa 15 to 20cm, all VERY clean and great potentials. The price is £75 (No discounts) BUT you can use up to 50% in points you may have. We CANNOT reserve any of these koi for ANY time period sorry please understand. AS you select one you have to bag it and take it.
These are all in pond 3
Also there are a few Aoki Goshiki's in there for £125, again no discounts but you can use points up to 50%

Weekday visiting by appointment only, but this is difficult during summer months.
Our fish house remains CLOSED during weekdays, dry goods only and closed on a Friday.
