Richdon Autumn Harvest 14th & 15th October:-
This weekend is our official release of the Richdon harvested koi. We hand selected over 100 tosai (one year old Koi) in early May and have grown them on in our quarantine facility which throughout the summer doubles up to grow on Koi. Some of the Koi selected to grow on were around 4” to 6”, and are now around 12” to 18”, a close growth rate to those in Japan. More importantly these Koi have been in the Uk for over 5 months, have settled to our UK waters, and even with such growths their qualities’ improved. All Koi throughout the summer have been grown on feeding Nutrikoi premium and growth with fantastic results. Come along and see for yourselves!

Richdon Koi’s Birthday.
Not only is it our harvest weekend, but seven years ago this month Richdon Koi was born. To celebrate this event we will also be offering 10% on ALL dry goods in store, along with chance to win £750 worth of koi vouchers for every £100 you spend from now until Christmas (See in store for more details).
We also have on sale our ‘Richdon gear’, with T shirts, polo shirts, Fleeces, baseball caps, coats etc all at cost, these will be on the web site soon.

New Quarantine facility:-
Our new quarantine facility is up and running.  Richdon Koi now has over 30,000 gallons ‘heated’ individual systems, to ensure the Koi we directly import are conditioned and very healthy. We have increased our quarantine period in this facility from 2 weeks to 4 weeks with NO customer access or viewing. We will send out a notice for you when the Koi are going to be released for sale.

Japan autumn ‘06
We embark on our trip to Japan on the 4th of November, where we will head straight for the Niigata Mountains. We have a party of eight going this year, so John and I will be certainly busy. If you have access to the internet then why not follow our daily visits to each breeders, the places we visit and the koi we select?

Some people have booked time off work to ensure they follow our journey online! If one of the koi takes your eye, then why not reserve it whilst we are STILL in Japan and get 20% off the displayed price.
Simply phone Donna giving a credit card details for the full amount. Once the koi comes into the UK and has gone through our quarantine period, you have NO obligation to take the koi once viewed in a bowl and it is not what you want you can use the credit for another koi. This service at this time of year is for heated customers only!
